The guide was very knowledgeable of Roman history and of course Rome has delicious food options. However, the tour was not as advertised. We never got to sit at any restaurant and felt very, very awkward standing In The streets trying to eat our snacks unlike what was promised as putting our feet up in a pizzeria. Not knowing that we were going to walk over three miles on cobblestones was also a surprise. Yes, the tour did say we would visit different districts but being tourist, we had no idea it would be all over the city. It would be good to publish how much walking would be done. By the time we got to the last stop we were exhausted and took a cab and our snacks back to the hotel. I would not do this tour again and couldn’t recommend it.

Our guide, Nunzia, was very knowledgeable about the history of the areas that we walked through - Campo di Fiori to Trastevere. Of course, she also knows the best places to get some snacks along the way. My favorites were the mortadella and cheese panini and the fried artichoke (separate stops). If you are thinking about taking this tour, it is well worth the money. Also know you will get a lot of food. Try eating half and saving half for later.
