Luigi was such a smart tour guide who knew so much about the city. Be sure to bring a water bottle and comfortable shoes as it’s a lot of walking but so worth it. Would highly recommend!

Our group of 6 just got back from Rome and had an amazing time! We did the "Rome - The City of Water Walking Tour" with Gianluca as our guide. He was very informative and took his time to answer all of our questions. This tour included many things off the beaten path and away from all of the typical tourist attractions. Would highly recommend!

We did a private Rome City Center walking tour with Rosie. She was exceptional! My travel companion had never been to Rome but I had been many times. Rosie was able to tailor the experience to interest us both, answering questions about history, art, architecture, current affairs, everything. Her English was excellent and she had visual aids to help us picture spaces through time. She was also warm, funny and personable. I’ve been on group and small group tours before but this was an entirely worth the price.

Azzura was our guide for our walking tour and she was the best! She was so friendly and knowledgeable. Our entire family had a great experience. She gave great recommendations for dinner near our hotel. We saw and learned so much more about Piazza Novona, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and too many to count sites in between than we would have on our own. We did several tours in Rome with various companies and this one was by far the BEST!!!! If I had to do it all over again, I would use Eyes of Rome for all of our tours. Highly recommend Eyes of Rome and Azurra!

Our guide, Sara Tomassini, was outstanding. We had conveyed our interests ahead of time, and she put together a fabulous walking tour of significant works of art in public places: Michelangelo’s Moses sculpture, a walk through and around the Imperial Fora, a visit to the Piazza del Campidoglio and to see the trompe l’œil work of Andrea Pozzo on the ceiling of the church of Sant’Ignazio, plus many stops in between. Sara is well-informed, entertaining, flexible; it was a joy to spend 1/2 day with her.

Our tour was absolutely incredible. My fiancé and I did a private walking tour with Marco — he was awesome so insightful, engaging, and informative. He’s an archeologist and professor to boot so we really felt like we were learning from an expert. He took us to all the major sites and places we didn’t expect to see which were great. I’ve been to Rome a few times but felt like I was seeing it through a new lens on this tour. It was an amazing day!

My family and I booked a 3 hour night walking tour of Rome with Gianluca, and it was fantastic! Gianluca was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive to detail and a great storyteller. His ability to answer all of our questions was unmatched and we felt that we had seen the city with ease. He also gave excellent recommendations on restaurants, shopping and additional sights to see after the tour had ended. Gianluca made good on his promises to email me after our trip with additional information on museums to visit in the future.

We had a great experience with Eyes of Rome and our guide Francesco. He was punctual, very knowledgeable, and made the tour fun for my teenage daughters. He also showed us some hidden gems and introduced us to locals he knows. I would definitely recommend and will use again!
