Absolutely wonderful 2 hour tour with Marika and Lugi. She knows the history and makes everything you see more relevant - really brings the history to life. This would be almost impossible if you walked around on your own. Highly recommend !!!! No
Absolutely superb way to spend a morning! We could not have chosen better! Our carriage was pulled by Luigi who is quite a character in himself, knowing where to stop on route for little treats from the shop owners. Even pawing at the ground and tapping with his hoof to ask for the next treat! The ride itself was brilliant and our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and what a way to see a city, in and around all the narrow streets it was really something special! After the streets we went up on the city walls and it was beautifully tranquil and relaxing with Luigi pulling us at a gentle walk Luigi knew what was expected of him and behaved himself wonderfully. If you get the opportunity to take this ride definitely go for it.
Fantastic couple of hours spent with Marika (hope I spelled that correctly) and one of her horses Mario. The relationship between horse and driver was fantastic hardly any steering input. Mario stopped at numerous bars and restaurants where he was given carrots and bread. City tour was facinating
Owner Marika drove our carriage with her beautiful horse Mario. It was a wonderful two hour tour through the narrow streets of Lucca and around the city wall. Marika was entertaining and informative about the history, food, dining, and culture of Lucca. Mario was very clever and entertaining as well. It was an excellent experience.
Our family is visiting Lucca because my husbands mothers’ ancestors are from there. It’s grandma’s dream at 79 years old to visit Lucca. Grandma has a hard time getting around so I booked her this tour. Marika was very accommodating from the beginning and was willing to meet us in a different place so grandma didn’t have to walk so far. She had a lot of patience with us. Grandma said it was the best experience ever. She absolutely loved it. Luigi the horse is beloved by all and grandma really enjoyed seeing him stop for treats at the many shops and restaurants along the way. Marika did a great job sharing history of Lucca. So enjoyable from start to finish.
Best tour of the beautiful town of Lucca with Martina and Luigi . Lots of info and fun to see the horse know his window shopping routine to be rewarded with treats !!! Best hour and a half your yo relax and enjoy Lucca !!!!
