We visited two tiny towns where my husband’s grandparents immigrated from, San Pietro Avellano and Bagnoli del Trigno. I gave the company the places we wanted to see and restaurant based on recommendations from people of the town’s Facebook page. One town even arranged volunteers to show us around the town! We are a family of four with two young boys and the vehicle was very nice, spacious and clean. The driver was wonderful and took us exactly where we wanted, the towns, cemeteries, churches, etc. and waited while we enjoyed site seeing and lunch. If you want to visit the towns of your ancestors, I would definitely recommend doing this and would also reach out to the towns in advance to get recommendations-they are so happy you are visiting and so welcoming!
