These people cancelled our first tickets. Asked for cash for to be able to do the tour. This is a scam. They did the same for everyone else. Even if you were 1 minute late. Avoid at all costs.

A fantastic tour of the Vatican by Marzy. The tour was very informative and Marzy was an excellent host, very knowledgeable and engaging (event my 10 yo)?

This review is very similar to the one I did on the St Peters Basilica Tour because both elicit the same comments. This was an awesome tour. Our tour guide Marco was incredible. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job of telling the story of what we were looking at as we proceeded through the tour. He pointed out many subtleties in the artwork and structures that you would never get without a guide. As it relates to the tour itself, I can only say it was breathtaking. You get sensory overload at what your eyes are taking in. The grandeur and enormity of the Museums and the Sistine Chapel is something that can't be described. You can only appreciate it by being inside. All in all the price of the excursion was well worth the money.

I booked a reduced group tour in Spanish, 1 month in advanced, for a morning tour on 30/05/22, at a cost of 59 euros per ticket. Three (3) days before the tour one Coordinator of Crown Tour sent me a WhatsApp message telling me that the morning tour had been moved to the afternoon. That was infeasible for us as I had already booked another tour for the afternoon. I proposed to join an English tour in the morning (with some disadvantage in understanding) but they said it was all booked. They just then offered me a “skip the line ticket” and to do the tour on my own. In this case Crown Tour showed: 1) lack of capacity to comply with the commitment with the customer; 2) lack of interest to treat the issue proactively and offer customer a good alternative; I had to contact the coordinator several times looking for an alternative 3) Did not offer a real compensation for the problem they caused; they just offered to refund me 20 euros per ticket, this implied I ended up paying Crown Tour 39 euros for a “Skip the Line ticket” when the cost of this ticket is about 30 euros. I read good reviews of Crown Tour; in my case it was a extremely disappointing experience with a mediocre tour company.

I highly recommend sightseeing with Crown Tours, especially with Mrs Laura Sensi, she had an amazing vision and knowledge of the history and contents of the Vatican Museum. Very charismatic and charming Lady :D

Barbara Simari was an amazing tour guide. It was all overwhelming. An absolute must if your in Rome. So much to take in but worth every penny to have a tour guide. Thank you Barbara for being so knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

We met Lia our tour guide across the street from the Vatican museum entrance right on time. Unfortunately though there was a slight slip up when the company booked our tickets to enter and we had about a 30 min gap. Lia made the time fly by as she gave us a brief history of Rome, the popes, and how the Vatican was built as we waited to enter. Once we entered, it was a AMAZING tour and I feel like Lia could right a book about the entire vatican, she was super knowledgable and answered all of our questions. Lia spoke perfect English and would walk and talk with us the throughout the museum. Unfortunately, since we spent so much time at the beginning waiting to enter we only had the option of doing the Raphael paintings or the basilica, we chose the Raphael paintings as the basilica is free entry and can be done on our own. It all worked out as we spent 1.5 hours doing the basilica on our own and even took the elevator and stairs to the top of the dome. SO WORTH IT!
