Admission Included

Gennarino Scugnizzo Di Capri

(Pass by)

is visible on a large boulder overlooking the sea the bronze statue Of “Gennarino, O ‘Scugnizzo di Capri”. The statue of Gennarino is also called the statue of welcome, the tradition that greet, above all, the women who come to Capri by sea.

White Grotta

(Pass by)

It derives its name from white incrustations of calcareous matter upon its sides, and from clusters of white stalactites which hang from the roof and fringe the entrance. The cave faces east and is situated near the Punta della Chiavioa. The entry, about 70–80 feet (21–24 m) high, leads into upper and lower caves, of which the former is not easily accessible. The lower cave can be entered by boat for a short distance. Unlike most other caves at the water-level, it is much broader at approximately 6 feet (1.8 m) above the water than actually at the surface. The total height is no more than 24 feet (7.3 m). The upper erosion line is clearly marked near the cave and within it. The upper cave seems to belong to an earlier period.[1] According to the book The Sicilian by Mario Puzo, the Grotta Bianca is where Salvatore Giuliano, the famous Sicilian bandit, stayed during his first nights as an outlaw after shooting dead an armed national policeman. Although the book is dramatized, many believe some information in it is true, with regards to Giuliano

Villa Malaparte

(Pass by)

is a house on Punta Massullo, on the eastern side of the isle of Capri, Italy. It is one of the best examples of Italian modern and contemporary architecture. The house was conceived around 1937 by the well-known Italian architect Adalberto Libera for Curzio Malaparte.[2] Malaparte actually rejected Libera's design and built the home himself with the help of Adolfo Amitrano, a local stonemason.

Natural Arch

(Pass by)

Suspended above the turquoise sea, this huge rock has been naturally cut into the shape of a gigantic arch that resembles an elephant.

I Faraglioni

(Pass by)

Capri's most iconic sight

Marina Piccola

(Pass by)

The sunny south side bay of the island

Green Grotta

(Pass by)

The green light upon the rocks stems to be a composite effect due to blue light reflected and transmitted from the water, playing upon the yellowish-hued sides and roof of the cave

Punta Carena Lighthouse

(Pass by)

The light house, 'faro' in Italian, was built in 1866. The second tallest in Italy (after Genoa), it is among the most important of all those guarding over the Tyrrhenian Sea . At Punta Carena the seabed descends extremely quickly and, at only 500 meters from the coast, is already 600 meters deep.

Blue Grotto

(Pass by)

Entrance by rowing boat not included nor guaranteed. Sea must be very calm and tide low. If the waiting time is over 45 minutes the crew reserves the right to go back to the port. A free ride to use later in the day is than granted.

This is advertised as a wheelchair accessible experience. In fact in the notes / description it is mentioned 3 times along with stroller accessible. We were first offered a giant dinghy as pictured above which is not suitable at all so then we were told (and given different tickets) and went from wharf 0 to wharf 23 to catch an accessible boat. The boat arrived with a long gangway not wheelchair accessible to walk down to get onto/off the bow of the boat which had stairs. The name of the boat was Grotta Azzurra of the Yellow Line. I managed to get onto the boat however it was far from safe due to the way the narrow gang plank I had to walk moved up and down pivoting with the boat due to waves. Reaching between the gangplank and stairs on the boat I almost fell off the side. My wheeled mobility device had to be collapsed and carried onto the boat. The gangplank plus stairs cannot carry a wheelchair. The experience was neither accessible nor fun due to mis stated expectations set on the tour information. Nor is in stroller accessible!

It was a good ride around but FYI the yellow line is the BIG boat, not the smaller boats. It was good if you’re prone to being sea sick since the larger boat cuts through the waves more. But, if you’re expecting a small crowd, that’s not this boat.

They are not honest. Blue grotto was closed for 4 days and yet when we boarded, they say nothing abt grotto being closed. They shld have mentioned to us and for is to decide to proceed or refund. Only infront of grotto the they said it is closed. Dishonest service provider.

Our goal was to see the Blue Grotto, but thought for an extra $1 USD why not take the full tour. The boat stopped at the Grotto and announced it was too busy and we couldn't stay. I wish we had read all the similar experiences - lesson learned to check Trip Advisor reviews first. Our cruise line told us to use Laser, but we had already purchased on-line tickets. Motoscafisti ruined our Capri visit.

This tour does not stop at the blue grotto. Or rather it stops but does not allow you to get off onto the row boats or ticket office steps. While the tour of the island was good we were not the only passengers left disappointed and confused.

Horrible. It was canceled due to weather. But the waters did not look too choppy to me. Terrible tour company. Do NOT use them

The yellow line is a fun inexpensive way to view the entire island of Capri. The boat is small enough to enter one of the larger grottos and the driver explains all the landmarks on the Island. It does not stop at the Blue Grotto, but the queues to get into the Grotto were very long. It also does not offer the “extras” food and drinks of other tours but this is reflected in the price. I’d highly recommend this tour.

Please avoid this tour as they do not get you to Blue Grotto. They will show you a few rocks and move around the island and never stop in Blue Grotto. They will always say that the waiting time is over 2 hours. One should blue line instead which goes directly to Blue Grotto. No one will buy this tour if they do not sham people with false promises.

Amazing experience Great Value foe money Entering grotto with the boat The Blue grotto not accessible because of weather conditions

You are in southern Italy and nearly everything is made better by a boat ride on a sunny day. Capri is no different. We opted for the full tour around the island and the Blue Grotto. With this option, you get to navigate around the entire island and go into/very near some beautiful sea cave and inlets. The skill of the boat captains here is pretty amazing. Unfortunately, the day we came was after about 10-12 days of rains and clouds so the boats around the Blue Grotto was crazy. Our boat (which holds about 30?) people chose not to wait to get in as the wait would have been about 1.5-2 hours. The reason for the back-up is that power boats cannot go inside, so they take people off of the many large boats that are waiting onto small oared boats that only hold about 4-6 people. It’s quite a process. We were hoping to go inside but ultimately the ride around the whole island was a much better option for us. Simple and easy to find, you can buy tickets at the small newsstand at the end of the pier while coming off the ferry to the island. You buy your ticket and then get in que for the boat. It’s a little disorganized and a free for all at the pier as there really is no line....just bunches. We got the advice that certain times are better and at the departure time, several boats were leaving.
