Tour dell'Umbria Bike & Bite!

Great ride through countryside and a fantastic farm to table lunch. Great equipment and guide was very entertaining. Highly recommend.

An amazing afternoon with Daniele in the Umbrian valley. Daniele breadth of regional knowledge, history and stories was only surpassed by the views and food. This is a must, a tremendous way to explore and take in the true beauty Umbria has to offer. Salute

What an absolute joyous day riding through Umbria with such a kind, positive and caring gentleman Daniele! Not only the bike ride, but add in the history we learned of Bevagna! Wow! Our stop at Il Cerreto , a lovely family run restaurant and farm house, was so memorable. We had the place to ourselves. You know that the food was made with love. In fact it was, by Mama ! We thoroughly enjoyed watching the family traditions take place in the restaurant and out on the farm. Would highly recommend this unforgettable tour while in this area.

We had an outstanding time with Daniele. My wife and are novice bicyclists. Dani first of all took the time to properly choose and set up the bicycles for our size and explained our route and what expect. Daniele treated us to breakfast in Bevagna and shared the history and significance of the town. He then led us down and through the countryside explaining the crops and the people that make up this region of Umbria. When we arrived at the Agriturismo where we took our lunch, we were first of all treated to a refreshing swim in their lovely pool. We then were treated to a fantastic farm fresh Organic lunch prepared by “mama” paired with the perfect local wine, finishing off with a beautiful tart and espresso. After another dip in the pool, we set off for our return to the castle. This experience was one of the highlights of our Italy vacation. I couldn’t recommend any trip higher than this one with Daniele. Grazie Mille.

My husband and I consider ourselves very fortunate to have both met and booked tours with Daniele and Laura!!! On this tour we spent a lovely day biking backroads through the beautiful Umbrian countryside and small villages. During the ride we made stops at local historical sites where Daniele shared fascinating local history. Biking along with Daniel while listening to music from his bike speaker, we felt a bit like locals out for an afternoon ride! We topped it off with a visit to a local family farm and enjoyed wine, a lunch of delicious local fare, great conversation and a refreshing outdoor pool! La bella vita!
