You will be collected in Naples at a prearranged time and location and transferred to Bacoli (approx. 30 minutes by car, depending on traffic conditions); you will be escorted inside the Piscina Mirabilis and you will visit this maravillous cistern that was situated there in order to provide the Roman western imperial fleet at Portus Julius with drinking water. A small booklet with the whole history will be provided. After the visit on the way back you can enjoy a real espresso in a typical bar (drinks or food are not included in the tour and must be paid on the spot). Drop off at a prearranged location. Duration of the excursion including transfers is about 3 hours. A small booklet with the whole history will be provided.
