This was a great getaway from San G. Marco, our guide was excellent providing us with just the right amount of information as we toured the Tuscany countryside Our tour picked up a few people in Siena and then off we went to Montalcino where we had approx 40 minutes for nature break, visiting the fortress as well as this quaint little town. Then 1st winery had an organic set up on a small vineyard and we tasted 4 samples of local red wine and toured their distillery and holding tank set up; Our 2nd winery stop also doubled as B&B establishment; perched on the top of a lovely hill with amazing views. The long winding lane way was lined with cypress trees. What a view of the surrounding countryside! There we also tasted 4 local red wines featuring the famous Brunello brand of the Sangiovese grapes. Our group of 8 met up with another group of 8 making the wine tours and tastings a little more enjoyable. All in all ver good value for a 6-7 hour tour. Thank you again Marco!

If anyone is considering booking this tour - DON'T! It was terrible from start to finish. Rude & incompetent driver. Extremely unprofessional tour. 4 hours of driving time and minimal time actually spent at vineyards/tasting wine. Our driver got lost on the way to the second vineyard and became abusive towards us in their frustration. One vineyard actually expressed concern about our safety on the tour due to the driver we'd been allocated by this company. There are plenty of closer vineyards in San Gimignano & in the nearby area which you should go to instead by using either a taxi or public transport. If you book this tour, you'll regret it! You'll be wasting your money and you'll be wasting a whole day of your holiday - don't make the same mistake that we did

The wineries were beautiful. The people at the wineries were very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. It was a long drive from the meeting point in San Gimignano to the 2 wineries we visited so plan to spend more time driving than at the wineries. Bring snacks and plenty of water to drink.

We were picked up in San Gimignano and then drove 45 minutes to Siena to pick up others. It was then around 40 minutes more to the first winery and a further 20 minutes to the second one. We spent around 4 hours in the van out of the 7.5 hours of the trip. Only about 2 hours were at the wineries. At the two wineries we were given around 4 small samples of their wine which were very tasty. I don't think this tour was good value for money particularly but it was nice to be picked up at our door. Also our guide had a strong accent and was difficult to understand.

Great experience sipping wine with a group of wonderful people. Having fun and gaining knowledge about how wine is made from beginning to the bottle. Thank you for an awesome day.

This was the best wine tasting tour we have ever done and we have done this several times. The first winery was truly an experience as they took the time to make it a fun experience which included food and wine. The second winery was okay but nothing like the first. I would highly recommend this tour although it could be shortened a bit.
