Our clients will first have the chance to set off on an unforgettable tour with a private wooden boat around the whole island to discover the real paradise of nature so well-known worldwide as the “Ever-changing Scenery”. After the boat tour we will go by private minibus first to Anacapri and then on to the main village of Capri. Our clients will have the chance to visit the Villa San Michele, to ride on the chairlift up to highest point of the island, Mt. Solaro (Sunny Mountain), to see the famous main square called the “Piazzetta”, the Caesar Augustus Gardens, and, as always, there will be some time for shopping and strolling.

I Faraglioni

(Pass by)

From the Big Marina to Tiberius’ jump, the white grotto with its natural statue of the Virgin Mary, the Natural Arch, the green and coral grottos, through the Arch of Love at the Faraglioni Rocks , past the little Marina and onto the Blue Grotto!

Capri

From Capri we will take either the Funicolare (cable railway), or private minibus down to the port to board the jet boat where the tour finishes. By that time, as promised, our clients will have seen the whole isle by land and by sea!!!

We LOVED our tour of Capri. The guys that run the boat (I’m unsure of their titles, but there were two of them) could not have been nicer or more welcoming of my friend and I. As gay men traveling together, we always approach new situations and new groups cautiously and the ship crew could not have been more welcoming or made us feel more comfortable. We LOVED the tour around the island and jumping off the boat and swimming in the sea and we so appreciated the narration and description of things we were passing. We were a group of 5, three generations spanning 17 to 77. We met our guide, Andrea, at the Sorrento harbor and took the shuttle to Capri. When we arrived we went directly to a boat and toured the island for two hours. Marvelous views and beautiful water. It was sunny and warm and we stopped for a while to swim in the beautiful blue water. After the boat we took a convertible taxi ride to Anacapri. I would highly recommend that area as cooler and not as crowded. Andrea showed us many unique areas and streets less traveled. We did a food tasting, visited a beautiful garden, has a leisurely lunch and even stopped for gelato. Andrea was an intelligent and knowledgeable guide and spoke very good English. A joy to be with! I would definitely recommend this tour. We enjoyed a small group and got very special treatment. A wonderful day!

Best day of our trip! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the Mondo Guide shared option from Sorrento to Capri was perfect for my family. We had a boat that holds 12 people but felt like the fastest boat out there so it was a thrilling adventure just going to Capri and exploring around the island from the boat. We had refreshments on board, got to stop and swim a couple of times, and saw some beautiful sites on our way around the island. Our captain negotiated the “line” of boats to see the Blue Grotto and got us all in for the spectacular view and acoustics for singing. The boat ride was so much fun and we definitely felt much better off than the hordes of people piling onto huge boats for the transfer. Oh, and then we got 3 hours on Capri to eat, shop and ride the chair lift to Monte Solaro - what a view! This was an amazing trip and for my family was our most enjoyable day in Italy. I would suggest a similar tour for the Amalfi coast with ~1 hour stops in each town. It was a lot of fun.

Our shared boat excursion to Capri was truly a day we'll never forget! Our boat crew was friendly and upbeat. We toured around the entire island with a stop at the Blue Grotto and through the Faraglioni Rocks. Then we were dropped off in Marina Grande and had 4 hours to explore Capri on our own. Once we were back on the boat, we continued our trip around the island with a stop for swimming. While we swam our guides found some sea life to show us. What an amazing experience! We had snacks and beverages on the boat throughout the day. It was a once in a lifetime trip! We would highly recommend it!

Our boat guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Just the right amount of information as we headed to Capri. We loved our time on Capri. Would highly recommend the chairlift ride in Anacapri. On our way back to Sorrento, we stopped for a wonderful swim and learned more about the area. Also, an additional perk…a driver picked us up from and dropped us off at our hotel. A perfect day with a very professional and organized tour company.

Highly recommend the Capri Tour with Mondo. The Captain was wonderful and everything was worked out so that we avoided (to the extent possible) the crowds and having to wait in line. With the timing, his directions and assistance, we got to do everything we wanted, including the blue grotto.

A great day trip. The captains/guides were friendly, entertaining and informative. They really made the trip awesome. Bus transportation was all arranged so we could see the two major cities on the island. Riding the chairlift in Anacapri was the highlight. We got to visit the Blue Grotto right from the boat. Be sure to tip the Blue Grotto rowboat mean at least 10 Euro. I highly recommend any tour by this operations

We highly recommend this option to get to the island of Capri. So much easier than taking the ferry and then scheduling a separate trip to tour by boat around the islands. The pick up was very efficient, the crew was great, the sandwich provided on board was tasty, and the boat trip around the island was awesome. The crew was friendly, and provided plenty of drink options as well. But be prepared for crowds on the island. This has nothing to do with the Mondo tour, but you should be prepared for the number of people on the island.
