An absolutely amazing tour! There is so much to see at Pompeii and Herculaneum that you really do need the services of an expert to get the most out of it - that is certainly what we had here. Knowledgeable, informative and amusing we had the perfect guide to bring these amazing places to life. Highly recommended!

Pompeii deserves more than 2 hours to fully experience the history and see all the sights, however, as we only had one afternoon based on our schedule, this tour made it a truly valuable, informative, experience. Julia, our guide, was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and funny! A guided tour is certainly the way to go and we would recommend staying after the tour to see everything that didn’t fit into the two hours. If you want to know more about life in Pompei, this tour will help you understand how people lived.

Amazing experience!! Already recommended to a friend! My brother and I got so much out of it! There are little to no signs explaining what you are seeing of the history so our guide Giulia was a huge help! Highly highly recommend!

Raphaela was an excellent guide. She was funny and welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about all there was to see. Very easy and a great experience overall.

We had an amazing time with our tour! Our tour guide, Juan Carlo, was extremely knowledgeable, and made our tour fun and exciting! Pompeii is worth the time to explore. The tour runs approximately 2.5 hours, but you are free to continue to navigate on your own afterwards. It is massive, and you could easily spend a day there. I have used Viator for years now, and highly recommend this tour to all. Thank you again to Juan Carlo and Viator!

Our amazing guide Giano (?) was an excellent wealth of knowledge on everything Pompeii, showing off the history, culture, and even sticking a few jokes in along the way - would highly recommend!

Diego, the tour guide, was great! The tour focused on the “highlights” of Pompeii. It was honestly very helpful as Pompeii is huge. My partner and I both felt that we got more out of the experience because of the guided tour. Highly recommend for people interested in learning more in-depth about Pompeii.

Gennaro was an amazing guide, taking us through the streets of Pompeii and showing us the best parts! His explanations were fun and insightful. The city is huge and I feel that we wouldn’t have seen half of the things we did if we’d gone in on our own.

Great tour with a knowledgeable guide Anna who explained the history and context extremely well. That she was an archeologist was hugely beneficial.

The tour was very well organized and the guide (Anna) is very competent and kind! She showed us very interesting part of Pompei with entertaining explanations. She also helped with tips on where to go around the archeological site after the guided tour! I strongly recommend this operator!
