Tour di Roma di notte

They take you to a grocery store / restaurant - Eataly, and make you spend an hour and a half there. We thought we were taking a tour to the city instead we got a tour of a grocery store.

I was expecting better spots to see, better service at the restaurant, and the bus drops you off far from the starting point. It was not too interesting.

We went on this tour as part of a pre booked itinerary and was meant to be done the first night we were in rome. Unfortunately we wern't able to make it in time but Greenline was helpful in rebooking for another night. Most of what other people have said is true with regards to pickup/dropoff, the walking (no proper place to park a bus near trevi), driveby tour etc but its not all bad. Rome is beautiful at night and i suggest that if people consider this tour they should do it the first night. That way they can see the main sights and then decide which places will be worth a visit in the day when it gets crowded. Our guide Mario was good and was able to give information in 3 languages to our group. But we couldnt hear a lot since the microphone equipment in the bus wasnt working. I would just say that it wasn't as expected but wasn't completely dissapointing. While i wish we could have gotten off at all locations and taken pictures, rome is meant for walking and parking for buses is not easy. Do your research so you know what to expect.

I booked this Rome illuminated tour for our group of 11 for May 28. The website indicates you will be brought back to where you were picked up (for us that was the Termini station). The website leads you to believe you will actually get to take the awesome pictures they show on their website. None of this is true. The only stop we made was at the Trevi Fountain which we had to walk a long distance to get to up a very steep hill. From there we drove around the city and they called out the various sites but there was no stopping to take pictures or even slowing down the bus to attempt to. After the drive around town they dropped us on the opposite side of the city and told us that was where we would be left and if we needed to get back we could take the subway or a taxi. I have e-mailed the company twice and get no response. Avoid at all cost. This is not at all what it says or shows unfortunately.

Not what was advertised. Terrible guide. During the only stop 1/2 mile away from Trevi Fountain. The guide talked to someone on his cell phone having no regard for the group. You do NOT see the Colleseum as advertised. You drive quickly by with no stopping or slowing. If you are seated on the left side of the bus you see nothing. We then drove through the city seeing nothing of interest and at the end they dropped us off and said if you didn't book the dinner tour good bye this is where your tour ends. It was in the middle of nowhere. when we booked the tour there were multiple drop off locations to select from. The one we selected was 2 blocks from our hotel. The guide said "no drop off" and the bus drive away. This was the biggest waste of money.. Again Stay AWAY from this tour and Greenline!!!!!

First off, the tour was less than the two hours advertised. We weren't picked up at our hotel, and we weren't dropped off there either. We had to walk a lot more than was expected - particularly the nearly mile to and from the Trevi Fountain, where we spent 40 minutes for people to hang out and take pictures. We didn't really get to see much else, or get much information about what we did see. The guide was very nice, but the tour was chaotic and definitely not worth the price! Wouldn't recommend this tour or this tour company to anyone.
