This was such a fun and memorable tour! It was treacherous up on Etna that day with wild winds, so our wonderful Tour Guide Andrea, pivoted and lengthened our tasting of the amazing food and wines grown and made on Etna herself. Probably one of the most memorable days of our whole trip!

Trip was not that accited as we expected. Etna is nice but not specteculair, the stop at the Honey was just a wast of time and the Ancatara river is nice but for the money we paid for this trip, we axpected to use the Lift instaed of the stairs with 500 + steps. Enzo was talking a lot but did not entertain us. No value for the Money.

He is an amazing person, very knowledgeable, and passionate about the history and culture of the region. He took us on a mesmerising journey through the picturesque landscapes of Mount`enta and Alcanta, providing insightful commentary along the way. The tranquilly and serenity of ETNA's silence were truly captivating. It allowed me to connect with nature on a deeper level and appreciate the raw beauty of the volcanic landscape. The food tasting experience was a delightful addition to the tour, allowing us to savour the flavours of traditional dishes that perfectly complemented our exploration. Very good, informative, well organized and quite condense tour. Lorenzo was a perfect guide. We were a small group, everything was on time, interesting and safe.

A great day out for a family with 2 teenage girls. My wife was a little worried about the physical requirements of walking up Etna, but it really wasnt an issue. She struggles with her knees so brought hiking sticks, which are great, but only if you really need them. For me, it was more strenuous stroll. We didnt pay the extra for the next stage up to near the top on the cable car. The others on our group did and weren't impressed with what they got for the £50 each, they said they went up and virtually came straight back down. We had a nice walk with the guide who gave us lots of insights into volcanoes. The guide was great throughout the day. As you would expect the food at etna was expensive, but very good, so maybe bring a packed lunch and save yourself £30/35 for a family of 4. After Etna we went to the cave, which is more like a big whole next to and under a road, this was a bit of a faff and felt like it was more to pack the brochure of what you get for your money. We stopped briefly and the farm shop, again we could have skipped that, one of those tourist traps, nice stuff, and nice to taste a couple of things, but not unique. The gouge was lovely, although pretty packed. We got some great photos. Me and the youngest are a bit more adventurous so went further in, that requires throwing caution to the wind slightly. Bring wet shoes and a phone holder for the water and jump through some rapids which was great fun. Again we got some great videos and pictures. In summary, great trip, the guide was really good, bring lots of water, you will be in the van for a while. I would skip the cave and shop and go straight to the gorge, or spend longer at etna if you find a tour that does that option (less is more).

I had the tour with lovely guide Andrea and he was nice and helpful. He gave us a lots good infos and very helpful. The reason I gave this tour a 4 is the bus price to the top. All the tourists talked about and we all think it is over priced - 78 Euro for the bus ride.

The full day tour from Catania to Mount Etna and Alcantara was great! Our tour guide Francesco C. was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and also created a very warm and welcoming environment. When we arrived at Rifugia Sapienza, we had the choice to do whatever we wanted to, whether that be a quad tour, taking the funicular up to the highest altitude allowed, or just walking around. After lunch, we made our way to a cave, sampled some honey and wine, and then had free time to explore Alcantara. The trip was very well organized, and we had a great time!

Etna visit is nice but not spectaculair. Cave visit is nice. Local product tasting is waste of time. Alcantara River is nice but the Elevator use had to be in the tour. No info about what to expect of this River.
