Tour in bici elettrica del Chianti Classico

This bike tour was one of the highlights of our three-week Italian vacation, which included many amazing experiences. In fact, one of the teens proclaimed this his favorite part of the trip. We are in good shape and initially booked a trekking bike but once we got to Italy and realized how hot it was going to be (July 2022!), we asked to switch and they easily accommodated us. We still got exercise, but we were able to cover more ground faster. I didn't really know what to expect, but we biked to a spectacular fortress, enjoyed refreshments at a cafe, and then enjoyed a spectacular wine and olive oil tasting with a lovely lunch. We really appreciated the relaxed and easy-going vibe. Highly recommend.

We had a great bicycle trip around the Chianti region. The views were beautiful and we had some lovely stops along the way at a fortress, winery, viewpoints and a coffee shop. Our guide picked us up from the hotel and drove us to the starting point. He was knowledgeable about the area and shared with us interesting historical information. We had the freedom to choose where to stop depending on how we felt/ what we were interested in and it was possible to go for lunch at another place on the way after the wine tour and tasting. Our guide Michelle was perfect and we instantly felt comfortable around him with a very laid back and relaxed feel. He knew the routes and roads so well he could easily adapt any route depending on how you felt and what you wanted. Would fully recommend the tour 10/10 and it was completely worth the cost, our favorite day so far.

This was a great way to take in Chianti on our first day in Tuscany. Our tour guide, Michele, picked us up at our hotel. The bikes were fully charged and in good condition. On this particular day, my husband and I were the only two people on the tour. The hilly terrain is steep and intense, but with the e-bikes, neither of us had any troubles with the bikes. We enjoyed our stops at the winery and lunch and Costello Brolio. We enjoyed our time with Michele. He was patient and happy to answer questions but not intrusive or overly talkative (sometimes, it’s nice to just take it all in and not feel pressured to make conversation). We loved this tour and would definitely recommend to friends!

Fantastic trip planned by Michele. Biking in Chianti with Alessandro in the lead. Visits to towns and wineries. Unforgettable. We have had a dream for 20 years to see Tuscany by bike and 2021 was the year to follow that dream. With Anima Toscana we got our dream come through in a fantastic way. We got a great Hotel, 2 great days on bike with guide and visits to wineries that gave us foodies really unforgettable moments. We want to come back next year for the brunello trip.
