We just got to Rome and this was a nice way to get to know the city. Our tour guide was nice and great information and history of the city.

We scheduled the night bike tour for our first night in Rome! Matt was super informative and really helped us get our bearings of the city. He gave us many helpful tips for our trip!

Having done a fat tire tour in Paris a few years back, I knew we needed to do this with our large group! None of us were hugely experienced riders, but Lori made this so much fun, and it wound up being the highlight of our trip! You see so much more from a bicycle, and there’s something freeing about being able to experience any European city, like the locals do. Our bikes were sturdy. We even had rain gear for a small downpour, Laurie was helpful amazing and none of us will ever forget this! Thank you fat tire tours for delivering again!

The stories of the guide and his friendliness brought Rome alive- his English was excellent and he offered his tips and hints about living in Rome and even a few Italuan words!!

I've done bike tours in a dozen other cities around the world in the last few years. I always do my research to book the best bike tour in each city. The Fat Tire Rome tour which we booked was easily one of the best, if not my favorite of all. Why? Well Rome has a lot of cool history which you can cover nicely on a 3.5 hour bike tour ... AND because our tour guide, Marco, was probably the best tour guide I've ever had. He's fluent in English and knows the history of Rome incredibly well. Also he is so likeable, and we laughed a lot, and he tells the history of Rome in such a cool and easy to understand way, splitting it into Acts ... Acts 1, Acts 2 and Acts3 ... you'll see when you take the tour! We loved the tour so much we booked the Rome Night Tour a few days later, and specifically made sure that Marco was taking it! The Rome Night Tour is amazing to experience at night on bicycle during summer, especially since its a bit cooler... I think there is a bit more content and history during the Day Tour tho ... in any event, it's hard to pick a favorite. Thank you Marco! Ryan & Feryal (from Cape Town, South Africa)
