Really cool tour. E-bike was very useful for me. It's not very hilly, but the terrain is so rough, it was actually a little hard to steer and pedal at the same time, so the electric bike kept my forward momentum. Our guide was very knowledgeable, but it got uncomfortable when his rhetoric slid into antisemitic territory. It was also a very long tour. We had several breaks for water, but we didn't have snacks, which I would recommend. Great way to cover a lot of historic ground.

Martin is a very great tour guide. Very knowledgeable in the realm of arts and history. The tour itself is breathtaking. From majestic views of the aqueducts to the Appian ruins along the ancient trail makes the experience immersive. It’s unfortunate that the catacombs were closed that day. But the rest of the experience is really worth it. Definitely will do it again in the future! We started late due to some minor miscommunication, but the operator patiently waited for us.

Mario and Maurizio are amazing and rally kind ! The tour was a great value and we had a really good moment ! We got upgraded to electric bikes and had the chance to choose a typical tour instead of a classic monument tour and it was really worth it ! I recommend theses guys a lot !

The scenery was great and we did enjoy the trip for the most part. We do have issues as to how the trip is described on Viator. The 20 mile distance was not disclosed nor that they were e-bikes and we would be charged an extra 15 for our bikes. And you should disclose that you will riding up rocky hills.

Our tour guide was excellent and we were lucky to have a tiny group - just my family and the host. But the bike hire part was disappointing: the bikes were poorly maintained. This is a generous, long tour, so having good bikes matters.

Great way to experience Roman countryside and get away from the hustle of city. Martin was excellent.

Just back from a fantastic bike tour with Alessio and Antonella. Tailored made for our group of 3 adults and 2 teenagers. Adventure, history and Roman culture. I would highly recommend this company, and it’s wonderful tour guides. From the Scottish crew.

We LOVED this bike trip. We were fortunate to be the only ones on the tour. Our guide was excellent and the trip was fantastic. It was great to get outside the city and the tour was fascinating. We saw many great spots on the back roads of Rome. You don't have to be an avid rider to manage this trip.

If I were just to rate the actual experience it would be a 5. The bike ride along the Appian trail and all of the stops along the way were incredible. The history of the trails, the stop into the catacombs, the mausoleums along the route and lovely ride into the countryside to the aqueducts was a highlight of our Rome trip. It was so good to get out of the city for the day.

However, from an organizational point of view Id give it a 3.
Our guide was 45 minutes late, the bike shop we were told to go to had no idea what was going on and didnt have electric bikes, which is how the tour was marketed. We had to ride over to the main shop to get three electric bikes. Also, our guide, albeit knowledgeable, had a thick Russian accent and spoke incredibly fast which made it difficult to understand the facts and figures. We also werent given helmets which was fine - but some of the routes along the busy streets and narrow paths are crazy for the inexperienced rider.
