We were looking for a tour of the salt pans and then a transfer to and from the cable car to Erice. We are so glad that we found Trapani Tourism Service. Ninni picked the four of us up at the port in a sparkling clean van and gave us lovely gifts of bags of salt and a small bottle of local olive oil. We set off from Trapani and headed out to the salt pan area. He gave us a very good description of what we were seeing which he supplemented with recorded commentary on the history, flora and fauna of the area. We got to get out of the van and walk along the ancient pans and windmills. We saw flamingos and other interesting birds who migrate through the area. We then went to the salt pan museum where we had a private tour with the owner. We were then given time to walk around the family salt pans. After our 2 hour tour Ninni drove us back to Trapani to the cable car to Erice. We arranged with him to meet back at the bottom of the cable car so he could drive us back to the port. Ninni was so kind and couldn’t do enough to make sure we enjoyed our tour with him. We highly recommend Ninni and his company.

I organised this as it was cheaper than the cruise ship’s trip. It was easy to book through TripAdvisor. The company emailed confirmation and collected us from the dock the ship arrived at and gave us a very interesting tour. Would definitely recommend.
