In ischia Ponte, a driver will wait for you to move around the off the beaten paths of the island, starting from Lacco Ameno, where you will see the Fungo, the famous stone rolled down into the sea from the Mount Epomeo

At the end of the day, your guide and driver will take you back to the port, where you will take the jetfoil to get back to Sorrento. The ride lasts around 1 hour

Paolo was great. He showed us around Pontoischia and explained all that we saw. He escorted us to a lunch spot and waited while we ate. There was no rush. All in all it was a great experience. I would recommend him for any tour.

I really enjoyed our trip to Ischia. Carla was a brilliant guide and showed us around the island, visiting lots of interesting places. The minibus that took us around the island had aircon and was really comfortable to be in. Our driver Federico handled the driving like a pro around the narrow streets. This trip is a great way to see the island if you are short of time. The island itself is beautiful and we will definitely be back in the future!

We were based in Sorrento and booked this tour. We met a rep at the Ferry port and she helped us obtain tickets and connect with the appropriate ferry. We met Paola, our tour guide, upon arrival to Ischia. We really enjoyed our private tour of Ischia. Paola, as a native, provided much history and explanation of culture of the island. The tour provided some remarkable views and truly this island carries it's own beauty. It seemed less touristy, laid-back/low-key and everyone was welcoming and friendly. We really loved this island and will return to stay here.

This was managed very well and our guide was very gratified and knowledgeable about the island. Ischia is beautiful. We were informed that there could be a stop before ischia, which there was. My only comments are: it was a very hot day and the AC in the minivan was not the greatest. The tour ended at 3:20 and the ferry to leave was at 5:20, so we just hung out at the port for a bit till it came.

We met the rep at the Sorrento marina and she gave us our tickets for the ferry to Ischia. When we arrived our guide was waiting for us. He was very good and took us all over the island showing us the highlights. The only complaint is that it wasn’t made clear beforehand that we were responsible for the guide’s lunch. That should be made clear in the description online. Overall, a wonderful day

Wind/water conditions did not permit ferry travel to Ischia on the day we wanted to go, so nothing to review.

This tour was so worth every penny!Our tour guide, Giuseppe(native of Ischia), and our driver(?) did everything possible to ensure we accomplished our goal of seeing my father-in-law's birthplace. Aside from getting a fantastic overview of the island, with the limited information we had they went out of their way to help us locate our relative's house and, in an emotional moment, we were able to reconnect with my husband's cousin after 33 years.Even Giuseppe seemed to be visibly touched by what happened.

This tour started off on the wrong foot, when our guide on the Sorrento side FAILED to warn us that there is a stop in Procida, before you arrived on Ischia. We got off early and then had to scramble to get back on a boat to take us to Ischia. This confusion, shortened our trip by at least an hour, which gave us less time to see everything on the list. Further more, the mini-van provided was not large enough to accommodate 7 of us plus the guide and driver and the AC was hit and miss. The guide was good and the place chosen for lunch was one of the highlights of the tour. All in all, Ischia needs more than one day to appreciate it. By the way, Procida might be a great destination for the day. If you wish to focus on the thermal baths or other individual features of the island, you might consider at least 2 days..
