Baveno à côté de Stresa est extrêmement bien situé pour découvrir le lac majeur. Les îles Borromée sont à 10 mn et les principales visites à 30 mn à la ronde en voiture. Le train est possible, le bateau et les balades à pied.
We booked on line, (internet navigazione servizio publico), two tickets to go from Stresa to Isola Bella. It was precised that departure from Stresa was possible at 9 a.m First desappointment but not the least, when we arrive at the office to get the tickets, we have had to pay an extra cost for the company. This point was not mentionned on the web site. Second, it was impossible to take a boat before 10 a.m unless we saw many groups take boats from 9 a.m These points are not acceptable and you should update your informations on your web site or at least consider your clients much more better than you do.
Man muss extrem achten bei den Inseln mit welchen Booten man zurück fahren kann bzw zu einer anderen Insel kommt wenn man über einen privaten Anbieter gebucht hat. Keine Kennzeichnung , keine Auskunft zu Abfahrtszeiten und auch nicht wirkliches Interesse vorhanden weiterhelfen zu wollen Sehr schade da die Inseln wunderschön sind. Die Organisation muss wenn man touristische Einnahmen generieren will defintiv verbessert werden , denn so hat es einen sehr bitteren Nachgeschmack von Geldmacherei !
