The tour begins from the entrance of the Vatican Museums, where, after skipping the long line,  from Momo's spiral staircase you will walk to the Belvedere courtyard where the huge bronze pinecone is located. The visit continues to the Gallery of Ancient Roman Sculptures, the Room of Muses, the Room of Animals and the Rotunda. Next, the guide will take you to the gallery of Geographic Maps, the Gallery of Tapistries, and the Sobiesky Hall.

Francesco did such a great job taking us through the beautiful, majestic, awe-provoking, and also frenetic Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. He gave us the perfect amount of backstory so that we were knowledgeable about what we were seeing. He is a funny, kind, welcoming person which made the tour even better. Francesco was a fantastic tour guide. Incredibly informative, easy to talk to, and gave great recommendations. He pointed out some features to note in the Sistine Chapel (can't talk while in there) and tailored the tour to mine and my husband's interests. The Viator app was helpful in coordinating the tour and helping us get to the meeting point since this was out first time in Rome. I would definitely do this tour again.

An absolutely amazing tour. Francesco was the best tour guide we have ever had in all of our travels. Incredibly knowledgeable, he gave us great background and some things to pay attention to in the Sistine Chapel, he pointed out tons of interesting features throughout the tour of the museum and Basilica, and he was really easy to talk to and engaging. I highly recommend this tour and would definitely do it again. Expensive, but well worth the money.

Unbelievable, outstanding, excellent!!! Thomas, the blonde from Siena, our guide was incredible! He is an archeologist and a professor at a local university. He was knowledgeable, helpful, prompt, kind and fun to be around. We skipped thru a long line of other visitors and went through the entire tour at ease. This was the best money I have spent on a private tour anywhere in Europe!

To cover all sights in the Vatican is next to impossible but our guide made it seamless showing us around the most important places and providing a lot of information.

Massive congestion, you are herded through like cattle, ridiculous queues. The Sistine Chapel is jammec full, you hardly see any of the museum contents. The whole thing is a racket for the Vatican and tour guide firms to make money. Go visit St Pauls fuori le mure or Santa Maria Maggiore or Santa Maria sopra Minerva. St Peter's basilica is worth seeing but not worth a 2 hour queue
