More than 2000 years later, houses, theatres, shops, ancient restaurants, bakeries and temples come back to light, giving us the chance to appreciate the ancient splendour of this town. With your guide you will enter the theatres, the bakeries, the Baths, the house of Menander and even more. The magnificence of the frescoes and mosaics, still perfect after all this time, will leave you breathless, as well as the perfection of the pipes and steam systems. You will then be introduced into the Lupanariae – the red-light district – to then end the tour into the Forum, the bigger square of the city where the political, religious and social activities where developed. At the end of the Pompeii tour enjoy a quick break to have some rest and lunch and prepare yourself to the incredible walk up on the volcano Vesuvius slopes. The driver will bring you half way to the top of the crater, where you will join your geology expert guide to reach the top of the Vesuvius. The spectacular view over Naples and the Gulf will leave you amazed. The Pompeii tour lasts 2.5 hours and the Vesuvius tour lasts 1.5 hours. My family had a wonderful tour of Pompeii with our Tour led by Lello the Archaeologist. He presented lots of information abd on a kid friendly level. The whole tour was amazing and we even got whole family photos. I highly recommend it to everyone. The ease of the hotel pick up and skip the lines was worth ever euro. After Pompeii, we enjoyed a lovely lunch with wonderful views before heading up Vesuvius. I will definitely do this type of tour again.

Our tour guide was prompt and informative. She was a bit concerned about us using recording equipment during the tour which I’d brought especially to record the experience for posterity and found disappointing. It is a huge site so of course we could only cover a small area but she did a good job of getting us to most of the spots she covered before the crowds got there. Overall it was an enjoyable taste of Pompeii. Hopefully we can return and see more in the future.

This was an excellent tour. A driver was waiting outside our apartment and took us to the Pompeii park where we met our certified guide Itelo who had excellent English. We skipped the ticket line. Pompeii is too large to see everything but were happy with the parts selected by Itelo and he gave us great explanations of what we were seeing and how it related to ancient Roman life. Next we met our driver who took us to Vesuvius with a stop for a perfect lunch [our cost] and then to the park where you can walk up to the rim. It's a fairly steep climb of 45 minutes for us. After the driver got us back in town. Recommend it highly.

We really enjoyed both our driver Umbesto and our exceptionally knowledgable tour gude Ileana. A 20 year tour guide, she personalized our tour with insteresting facts. We can tell she loves her work and the history. We especially liked the scheduled break between Pompeii and the Mt Vesuvius hike. It allowed us to be taken to the Bosco de' Medici winery at the base of Mt Vesuvius for a superb tasting menu lunch and wine tasting. The site grown tomatos in the pasta were unbelievable in taste. The Master Sommelier "Sir King" Anthony was a gracious host for us. We ended up purchasing wine to ship back home! The personal tour is well worth the money. We were able to gain immediate access to the Pompeii site and Umbesto was able to drive us to the base of the hike where only tour buses and vans are allowed.

We had an absolutely amazing day yesterday. Our driver Francesco was very friendly helpful patient and punctual. Our guide at Pompeii Italo was very engaging and knowledgeable. The two hours flew by which you know is a great sign. He answered every question and did a great job showing us the highlights of Pompeii. It was just enough not to feel overwhelming but we felt like we got a good sense of such a huge place. Lunch was amazing. They were able to accommodate our food sensitivities which was a huge bonus. Overall I can’t say enough good things about our day with Francesco and Italo.

We had an excellent day today!!!! We were first of all thrilled that they would pick us up at our Airbnb in Torvaianica. The driver, Emanuala, was early and attentive to our every need. We had great conversation on the way to Vesuvius. He offered us options for lunch and we chose to do a lunch wine tasting which he set up while we were at Vesuvius. Vesuvius was awe-inspiring. The ease with which to view from the rim was great and the view of Napoli was breathtaking! We chose not to wait for a geologist tour because we wanted more time for the wine tasting. Then we had a great lunch at Sorrentino. We had a three course meal and tasted five wines. The vineyard was beautiful. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Finally we went to Pompeii where our guide Rosario met us upon arrival. She was attentive to our needs and very informative. She answered all of our questions and shared great details. My wife was struggling some with her asthma and Rosario took the tour at our pace. She never rushed and was willing to take us where we chose with the limited time we had available. This team of Emanuala and Rosario went above and beyond to make our experience one to remember. We left at 7:30 am and returned at 7:00 pm by mostly our choice (and a little bit of Italian traffic). They were great!

Beautiful views from Vesuvius, good guides, and then incredible memories and so interesting trip due to the proffesionell Pompei guide Elena. Also the driver Paulo was punctual and careful whilst driving, yet flexible and had good recommendations for lunch at a wine yard, as well as local knowledge. We can only give the highest recommendations to these service minded, friendly and execellent professionals.
