Mossimo was a wonderful tour guide. He was on time, gracious and patient since it was very hot and we took many breaks in the shade. He explained everything to us and showed us many beautiful things. Ostia Antica is amazing, just a short train ride from Rome. Even my 8 year old loved it despite the heat. I highly recommend this tour and Mossimo!

The tour with Maximo was fantastic. We would give it 10 stars if we could. He was so informative, flexible, and fun to hang out with during our tour. Would recommend highly any tour that he is leading to Rome and in Italy.

Federica was an excellent tour guide. My boyfriend and I learned so much history about Ostia Antica. And Federica was very knowledgable and able to answer all of our questions. This was an amazing experience and well worth the money. I would definitely book with LivTours in the future.

Veronica was knowledgeable and added a lot of interesting concepts about life in Rome as well as about Ostia Antica specifically.

Had a very thorough tour of Ostia Antica with Laura Sens of LivTours. She had great pictures to recreate what it must have looked like. She did very thorough discussion of the history- and walked us all around the large ruins. Amazing tour and very unique site. Highly recommend LivTours- the best in Rome! We used them for 3 tours and wished we had booked more.

This tour was excellent! So much less hassle than going to Pompeii and so uncrowded that for a long time, it felt as if we had the whole site to ourselves. The best part was our wonderful guide, Luca, who was very friendly, witty, and knowledgeable about the city’s archaeology, history, and culture. Ask for him!

We arranged this as a private tour for 2 people including transport from our hotel. If you are interested in ancient roman history this place is a must and surprisingly not that well known. We were fortunate that there were no crowds on the day and we had an amazing guide - Guilia - who was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the site and the Romans in general.
