I stayed on a few extra days after my family returned to England. I had never stayed behind without them before! My son knew how anxious I was & asked me to call this amazing company as we had such a professional & informative trip from the airport with Calogero, we had wanted to go & visit Mount Etna, however were unable as a family as my son was unwell. So I called & arranged to visit Mount Etna & would decide on the winery as the day progressed! I had such an awesome time, I couldn’t have asked for a more professional, helpful & understanding guide! I loved the morning so much that I stayed & visited the winery! I was introduced to a beautiful range & ended up having a crate shipped home! I can’t rate my experience high enough - it has given me the confidence to travel alone internationally & we are now planning a return visit soon with friends & family! If you want someone who is fluent in several languages & has a great passion to meet your needs - then choose these amazing tours! I’m certainly grateful to my experience!

Our Guide/Driver Calogero picked us up at our hotel for our trip to Mr. Etna and the Gambino Winery. He was very professional, caring, knowledgeable and an excellent driver. If you ever need a driver in the Taormina area I think he would be able to ensure you have an exceptional experience.

Our Guide/Driver Calogero met us right outside the port and off we went! He took first took us to his home town, a cute beach side community called Giardini-Naxos. Here, after we mentioned we would love to find some great Lemoncello and Cannolis, he took us to his favorite shop and delivered delicious Cannolis (and they weren't even open yet!). We then headed up the hill to Castelmola, stopping along the way for beautiful pictures of "the beautiful island" and the panoramic views of the coastline. We went up to the ruins of the castle which also had beautiful views of Mt. Etna. We walked around this cute little town for a bit before heading over to the Madonna Della Roca church. This church is a beautiful small church built into the side of a rock. It's a must see. Since we were in a small van, he was able to drive us right up to it. We then headed up to Taromina to walk around and take in the beautiful sites. We were given plenty of time to walk around and see all that the town had to offer. Calo had shown us a place for lunch outside of the main part of town and less touristy. We went back for lunch to Ristorante Lincontro. It was amazing! We sat outside on the covered porch and had a spectacular lunch with house wines, caprese salad, tuna, seafood risotto (recommended by Calo), pasta with meat sauce, and swordfish (again, recommended by Calo), two wonderful desserts, including Tiramisu and of course, Lemoncello! Calo was knowledgeable, courteous, professional and we had a wonderful day with him. For a wonderful tour of Sicily, Calo is your guy!!

Having traveled to Italy on several occasions, this was the first time we decided to have a private driver. Calogero meet us at Catania airport. Calo came highly recommended from family and friends who had taken many private excursions with him. As promised, he was there waiting for us and immediately took us to our car, a very comfortable Mercedes SUV. Calo speaks excellent English as well as several other languages making it easy to communicate. On our ride to our hotel- Capotaormina- Calo gave us an overall view of Sicily pointing out several interesting sites-including beautiful Mt.Etna. He is very knowledgeable and proud of Sicily and was able to recommend wonderful dinning options. On Wednesday Calo took us on our trip to Cefalu'- my maternal Grandmother's birth town. He was on time and full of idea's for us to have a wonderful day. (he even helped me secure an exchange of dollars to Euro's at the post office as our Hotel did not provide this service) We were so pleased with our day in Cefalu' that we decided to book another full day trip with Calo to Mt Etna and the Gambino Winery. Etna was amazing..but the winery was wonderful. We insisted Calo join us at our table for lunch (no wine for him!) as we had already begun to think of him as "famigila". Calo took up back to Catania airport for our trip home and it was a bittersweet goodbye. Calogero is knowledgeable, patient, a safe driver and a true professional. We know that having Calo escort us thru Sicily made our trip all that much better. "finche' non ci rincontreremo"

Visiting Sicily was one of the items I wanted to tick off my bucket list for a long time. I finally managed to do it with a group of wonderful friends. And Sicily did not disappoint and in fact exceeded my expectations. From the food and wine, to the countryside, to the seaside and the cultural ruins, and the wondrous of Mt Etna - nothing was short of exceptional. There were too many highlights to mention all, but some were the beautiful seaside of Taormina, Michelin dining at Ragusa Ibla, buying fresh fish and having it grilled on the spot in Siracusa fish market, the ancient ruins in Agrigento, Palermo architecture and the character of the town which makes this place unique and diverse, the Baroque city of Noto, the salt plains of Trapani, and waking up to a beautiful sunrise in Ortigia. All this was made possible by our amazing host Calo, who not only played as our own private chauffeur, but tour guide, and all round expert of Sicily. From the moment he picked up us at the airport to escorting is to our final destination, he was able to deliver us an experience I would never forget and will always remember with fondness. Calo is a true professional, nothing was too much trouble for him, he was patient, reliable and on time, drove safely and even carried my shopping bags! Thank you so much Calo! You are a true friend and i will highly recommend you to everyone who wants to experience Sicily in style and comfort. 5 stars definitely

Caligero is an excellent driver! He picked us up at 8.00 and we did a mount etna tour followed by taomorina. They were both great experiences. Callo’s English is excellent and he told us lots of things about the area and snout Sicily in general. He got us back to the ship at the time requested and even stopped off at a few Messina churches. I would fully recommend him! Thanks Callo!!
