This was the most disappointing tour we had in Italy. We met the guide and gained early access to St. Peiter's Basilica. We had miss most of the crowd and toured some of the dome. Back in the basilica We should have had much more time. There were no crowds. We were rushed out thinking we could come back, Not. We then pasted the line to tour the Vatican Gardens and the Sistine Chapel. We spent over an hour in the gardens...To us it was a total waisted of time. By this time it was VERY crowded to get into the Sistine. Everyone was too worn out to walk through the museum. A disappointment.

Great service. The instructions for meeting our guide were clear. She gave us the skip the line tickets and maps of how to enter the Vatican and get onto the official tour. We enjoyed the visit.

Dates changed according to Lady because Vatican was closed but when I asked the Vatican people I was told that they wasn't closed on my original date. The briefing she gave me and my wife was inaccurate as to what actually happened. In addition, she put us in the wrong group..

Excellent succinct 4 hour tour encompassing the Vatican gardens, Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica. Clear instructions for meeting guides and the skip the queue ticket was definitely required. Guides were knowledgeable and knew their information and level of English was very good. Fully recommend. Only downside to trip was the volume of people in the Vatican museum. This was no fault of the tour but keep in mind when planning your trip. Constant flow of people and little time in front of each artefact.

Vatican art blows your mind. We had a wonderful experience. The guides to both Vatican Gardens and Vatican Museums as well as St. Peter's Basilica were excellent. The check in process was fast. We entered Vatican past the long line. Take some water with you as there is no place to buy it during the tour.

Buy a tour from the official Vatican site. All you're getting by booking this is a lady meeting you at a cafe outside, walking you up to the group booking tour desk and leaving you there. She also "couldn't get the tickets at the time you wanted" - so we had to wait 2 hours between the museum and basilica and had to cancel our plans for the rest of the afternoon - And even then we had to find the tour guide at the basilica by ourselves. The tours are beautiful. Would recommend to anyone. Especially saint Peter's basilica. Just not this viator package. Go through the official website.

The skip the line entry with someone walking us into the Vatican, getting our headphones and waiting with us till the tour started was good. Our tour guide was excellent. We also had a tour guide in St Peters Basilica. The only negative was we paid about 80 euros for this service and believed our tickets were included in this price. They were not and we were charged another 35 euros for those tickets which were waiting for us before our tour. The tour had about 24 people so I believe there were lots of profit to be had.

We had a very good tour of the Vatican Gardens with Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. We were greeted by tour reppresentative who talked us through all parts of the tour. Then she walked us past the lines into the museums, where we met our guide.. Giorgia took us through the Vatican Gardens and then through the museums all the way to the Sistine Chapel where we finished the first part of the tour. You are allowed to stay in the Sistine Chapel as long as you wish, which was a nice surprise.. We went back to the Cafe where we met in the morning , had a quick snack and walked to St. Peter Basilica for the tour of the church. There was a bit of a line ( approx 30 minutes ) and we missed our departure time but they put us on the next tour of Basilica 45 minutes later with an Amercan cleric, who was a wonderful guide. All in all it was an incredible day in Vatican with top art work hard to take in.

The Vatican was great, but avoid this tour operator; Trip Advisor is usually right on, but not with this operator. Meeting time was different depending on text or email. The only thing the operator guide does is collect cash for the Vatican tour (which is not included in the booking price) and escort you to the museum to meet your Vatican guide. Fabio was the Vatican gardens and museum guide and he was great. Book this tour directly through the Vatican or a different operator through Trip Advisor.
