We had a wonderfull dinner at Beatrices place - the food and wine were very good and we had a good time with good talks - but we found that the space in the appartment was a little bit limited for 11 big boys.... one thing which could be improved: beatrice could try to avoid plastic glasses and plates.... good for the environment!

Great host. Food was very good with a down home feel and flavors. Wine was wonderful and the opening appetizers had a great Napoli feel. Paid attention to dietary allergies.

Wow! My husband and I recently had the pleasure of sharing an amazing dinner with Beatrice and her husband Simon in their lovely apartment in the Vomero district of Naples. It was a wonderful experience! Beatrice is a fantastic cook and the meal she prepared was probably the best meal we had during our two-week Italy vacation. We began with an assortment of some of the delicious fried finger food for which Naples is known on the balcony of their apartment overlooking the Bay of Naples while drinking homemade wine (contributed by Simon's father). When we moved into the dining room, we were presented with a gorgeous and delicious platter of antipasto, so abundant and tasty that we would have been happy to have made a complete meal out of the contents. But there was more! Incredible gnocchi, so light and fluffy that they made the gnocchi I've had back in the USA seem like an entirely different kind of food, followed by a platter of sausage and peppers (using homegrown vegetables) that was just scrumptious. The final touch was the best tiramisu ever along with limoncello and another homemade liquor courtesy of Beatrice's mom. Aside from the fabulous food, we really enjoyed getting to know Beatrice and Simon. For me, that's the essential part of the Eat With experience -- getting to share conversation over a wonderful meal with people who live in the place we are visiting adds a dimension that can't be had by merely dining in a fine restaurant. I highly recommend booking a dinner with Beatrice. You'll be blown away by the food, love the setting, and will have a wonderful time getting to know a lovely young couple.
