We arrived at the airport and was greeted by a very nice young lady who took us to the boat dock. The driver showed us and her a crude map to our hotel. As this was the first day of our trip, we were not sure what to expect. The young lady was speaking to him in Italian and did not sound pleased. She tried to explain the map. The driver dropped us off in the rain at the dock. We wandered through the alleyways for over 20 minutes in the rain, until we contacted the hotel who guided us to their door. We looked at the reservation and learned that we were supposed to be escorted to our hotel, not left at the dock. I have been trying, unsuccessfully to deal with Viator, first through our travel agent and then through our credit card company. When I call about the issue, I am told that Viator will contact me by email. It has been months, I continue to contact them but I have not received these emails. Viator did contact our credit card company, referenced a trip in Florence and denied any compensation. They had the correct booking number and our complaint but did not get the trip correct. Booking number BR100-1007174349 Really poor customer service!

Everything went great! I’m so happy we switched to meet and greet service. We arrived at 9:40 pm into Venice and it would’ve been hard to find the water taxi plus I got nervous when I read you are allowed only 1 suitcase and 1 personal item in the shared transport and that service stops at 10 pm. They took care of us. Thanks!

Arrived at the airport no transfer. Called and as my flight had been changed and I needed to amend the arrival time, they had not been informed. Even though I had done everything I was supposed to do. Waited 20 minuites for the transfer. Was taken to Venice and they waited another 20 minuites for a taxi. I was expecting a beautiful wooden traditional boat. Didn't get one. Not worth the money, get a speedboat for 4 for £130 at the airport. The advert of airport water taxi is misleading as you drive to Venice the get the water taxi. Asked for a partial refund with all of their errors, told no.

We were met at the airport, he didn’t speak to us all the way in the taxi to the boat. The boat was a simple taxi, which I have since learnt you can get for £21. This was not the romantic experience we were expecting my any means.

I have been visiting Venice on business for years and the transfers from Marco Polo Airport have always been very expensive as I have tended to use a private water taxi. I just happened to have a look at transfers on Trip Advisor and found this "Shared Taxi" service. As we arrived in Venice's beautiful new(ish) terminal we made our way straight to the new water taxi loading area via a moving walkway (vast improvement on the old way of walking for a long time outside). From there we found the Taxi service and were told where to wait and that there would be others joining us in less than 10 minutes. As it turned out we waited no more than a few minutes before the others arrived and off we set - much faster and more pleasant tha using the water busses and certainly a fraction of the cost of a private transfer. The next day we were given a departure time at the pier where we were droppped off and the Taxi arrived within 2 minutes of the allocated time - brilliant. One short stop to collect one other couple and off we zoomed back to the Airport. Great service and a bargain!!! Highly recommend this service

We booked a private transfer from Marco Polo Airport to our hotel, and we are delighted we did. We were picked up at the arrivals hall and taken by taxi van around to the dock. We would never have found the boat on our own. The ride across was lovely, seeing different parts of Venice from the water. We went straight to our hotel and our bags were put on the boat and taken off by the driver. We just sat back and enjoyed.

We added 3 hours to our pick up and they took us all around Venice. Great way to get a look at Venice and surrounding areas. Boat was very clean. Highly recommend

After a long transcontinental air trip, we did not want any issues getting from airport to hotel. In Venice this can be challenging given need to use ground and water transportation. We were promptly greeted at airport arrival hall by a cheerful gentleman with our name neatly displayed on iPad. He assisted with luggage transfer to private van, transported us to boat terminal, again assisted with luggage and helped us boarding a beautiful boat for private boat ride to the hotel’s private dock. Pricy but worth every dollar given the lack of stress and convenience.

Our transportation from the airport to our hotel was better than we expected. We (we were a group of 8) arrived to find a smiling driver holding our name sign high. He grabbed suitcases, loaded the car and off we went. Arrived at the boat and another smooth transfer, helping us board then loading our luggage. The boat was clean and the ride smooth. The boat driver got us right to the door of our hotel. I would recommend this service to anyone.
