I enjoyed a great hike to Cala Luna! The nature is spectacular, there was no one else but our small group (4 people) on the trail and Sergio is both passionate and knowledgeable. Whether it’s the trees, the geology, the history of Sardinia or the local life, he is eager to share & have us learn something about the place he calls home. Grazie mille!

Hardly possible to go wrong on an island like this, but a very recommendable hike nonetheless. Even though the trail might not be the most stable route down, it is very doable even if you are not the most experienced hiker. The way back up was a little easier ground for walking, but there is a nice option to take the boat and skip the entire 'uphill battle'. Our guide was very knowledgable about the island and the surrounding areas of the trail itself. He set a nice pace, made an effort to involve everyone in the group and told a good story along the way. Very capable of keeping the group together and in general a very likable and interesting person. Would definitely recommend, I had a very satisfying day.

Great decision to have joined this worth hiking trip! :D The views are really breath taking and absolutely spectacular to contemplate and engage again with nature, it was just amazing!! it is so lovely to see the different blues in the sea! Sergio is a kind, friendly, knowledgeable and great guide! He explained with details-facts-history about the nature, botanic, surroundings, geology and tips for the hiking with a sense of humor as well! always checking on the group :) Grazie Sergio for sharing the beautiful places of your home island, it has been an awesome experience :D Sardinia is definitively a must to visit!! I would love to come back soon!!

I cannot recommend this tour highly enough!! My boyfriend and I spent 5 nights in the northern coast of Sardinia and 3 nights further south in Oliena near Su Gologone so we could explore the magical beaches on the Golfo di Orosei and also do some hiking around the area. I would have to say that trekking Cala Luna was one of the main highlights of the trip! This iconic beach can typically be reached by boat but the 2hr hike to get there was truly magical. The excursion gives you the best of both worlds - a moderately difficult, beautiful hike and relaxing beach time with access to some of the most beautiful water. The dramatic limestone mountains (allegedly called the “dolomites of Sardinia”) are a sight to behold and the hike itself was just really fun. We had nearly 2hrs to relax and have lunch at Cala Luna. The beach has incredibly clear blue water, white sand and even small caves you can access to hide from the sun. I believe you can take a boat if you don’t want to hike back afterwards. Would recommend the return hike anyway since you go up a different route and if you’re lucky you may stumble into a dozen goats making their way back home! Sergio, our guide, was amazing!!!! He proactively reached out to me shortly after booking to make sure I packed everything we would need for the day and to coordinate logistics etc… followed up the day before the trip to make sure everything was good. It was all really reassuring. He is really friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating as far as hiking pace is concerned. Definitely check this trip out!!

It was a very nice hike! A good and experienced guide, Sergio. He knew a lot about the nature, the local wildlife and answered all our questions. He really loves his job and Sardinia.
