The winery was founded in 1972 when a small group of producers from Scansano decided to combine their efforts in wine production. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, a wine lover, a student, or a tourist traveling with family or friends, we are happy to guide you in the cellar and its surroundings. Following the tour, we start our tasting the wine cellar: a tasting of five wines paired with local products/light lunch. During the tasting, you learn the history of Morellino and its production. You follow the journey of the grapes, from their arrival in the cellar to the bottle. You visit the wine-making and aging cellars, where some of our reserves age slowly.

We had the most delightful lunch today. We've grown to not expect very much from restaurants, so we were pleasantly surprized that there was ample staff and many menu choices (unlike so many restaurants that are offering 5 or 6 items, and most are burgers, tacos or something that just isn't that special). Our waitress was outstanding and checked with us throughout the meal (another aspect of dining out that seems to be fading in most restaurants). We don't know her name, but ask for Table 110. And kudos to the management team for running a restaurant that you can tell the staff is happy to be part of.

Visited 2 wineries! Did this with another couple traveling with us. No stress getting to the ship on time. Tuscany is beautiful, so its a good trip if you like wine and no crowds. Private tastings! Well done!
