Your Itinerary

Spanish Steps

Beat the busy crowds and the hustle and bustle of city life as your early morning tour will take you through the Roman streets. Visit the Spanish Steps in the morning light to admire their beauty, before making your way through the winding cobble stone streets.

Trevi Fountain

Your small group and expert guide will continue on towards the famous Trevi Fountain, and learn of the architect Nicola Salvi who built it. Pictures do not do the fountain justice, and seeing it in person will truly help you absorb the beauty and fine skill it took to create it. Enjoy capturing the moment with plenty of space and without the worry of other tourists in the way as you take advantage of the early morning hours.

Piazza Venezia

Continue onto the beautiful Piazza Venezia with its grandiose Monument to the Country, the Altare della Patria - a monument built in the late 1800's early 1900's as a celebration of the unification of Italy.

Pantheon

Admire the Pantheon in the early morning light, You will truly get a feel for the local life here while most tourists are fast asleep and Romans are enjoying their coffee and cornetto before work.  A former pagan temple transformed into a Christian church, the Pantheon is nearly 2000 years old, and still an active place of worship today. Inside the church lay the tombs of famous Renaissance artist Raphael and King Vittorio Emmanuele - just to name a few.

Piazza della Rotonda

In Italy it's completely acceptable to have sweets for breakfast, and it wouldn't be a true Italian morning without a stop at a local bar for cappuccino and cornetto! With a variety to choose from and a cup of espresso or cappuccino, it is sure to give you the energy you need to enjoy the rest of your day in Rome.

Piazza Navona

A walking tour of Rome would not be complete without a visit to Piazza Navona - arguably one of the most beautiful and most visited squares in Rome. In the centre lays Bernini's Four River's Fountain, and surrounding it are the many shops, restaurants and bars that frame the piazza.

Had an amazing early morning walking tour with Andy. He was super knowledgeable and fun. He also gave a lot of great recommendations for us to check out on our own. We got to see a lot without many crowds since it was early. Would highly recommend especially early on in your trip to get the lay of the land.

Although the streets of Rome were crowded due to the Immaculate Conception holiday weekend, this tour was EXCEPTIONAL. Alessandra met us at the designated spot and deftly guided us to many of the must see sights in Rome which were absolutely beautiful at night; it included the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, the archaeological site near Piazza Navona, and Piazza Navona. Her knowledge of the sights and her story telling ability made Rome new again for us; even if you've been to Rome before this tour is worth it. We even managed to get in a peak at St Ignacio at Alessandra's impromptu suggestion; it was on our list for later in the week but it was so special to see it with someone who knew exactly what we were looking for/ at. Her tips for return visits to the sites were awesome, and the gelato stop was delicious ( the gelato at home is just not the same so the treat was much appreciated). We have an excellent set of photos from the night, and she did not hesitate to ask if we wanted a photo at a stop. In short, this was an exceptional tour with an exceptional guide and we highly recommend it.

Loved getting a private tour early in the morning prior to the major crowds. Brando was very knowledgeable about Roman culture and history and open to all of our questions. It was very special to be the first ones to step into the Pantheon in the morning!

Brando made this tour a truly special experience. He was a wealth of knowledge and went above and beyond to give us extra recommendations for the rest of our trip. Would highly recommend this early morning tour to beat the crowds. We would do another tour with Brando when we are back in Rome!

Brando was an amazing tour guide! He was engaging and full of information. We did a walking tour with him and our three children (16, 13, 9) and they all enjoyed it. I would love to do another tour with him.

Massimo showed us around town and took great pictures of us that hid the people around us so it looked like we were the only ones at the Trevi fountain! He gave us helpful tips and insights about various areas in Rome, such as some spots worth exploring, spending extra time at, and others that aren't worth the hype / expense, and humor along the way. Would definitely go on another tour with Massimo and LivTours.

Andy is a wonderful guide - he is very knowledgeable and made the walking tour fun for our whole party - everyone from the grandparents to our grumpy sleepy teens enjoyed it. This was a very very informative and interesting tour and it was nice to see the sites without 10 million other tourists. He’s a great guide, we’d go with him again for sure. 5 stars.
