My wife and I had a great time touring the family vineyard with Steve the owner. He has lived in this area since he was six and used to climb in the wine vats of his father. This is a real hands on experience walking through the vineyards. Where Steve explained how being by the coast affected the wine through the sea air and salt. We were able to eat some of the picked grapes as we were there during the harvest season. Along with watching a new batch of grapes being crushed by hand. The wine tasting was excellent starting with two wines from the chiller at 14 degrees and then two red wines. The tasting is accompanied by a plate of bread and meat from Steve's mom. The toasted bread with mom's olive oil was my favorite. If you are looking for a real family wine experience - this is a great choice. Bravo Steve, Steve's mom and the rest of the family.
Booked a visit months in advance as a gift for my father. I've been told 3 days in advance that they had to cancel our visit for organizing problems. My parents had already booked accommodation in Parma for the weekend. Absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional
A brilliant first-time experience visiting the winery. The tour was very informative and interesting. We toured around the vineyards, were shown around the distillery and tasted seven different wine bottles and a selection of cheeses and meats!!! Our guide, Sante, was so nice and helpful and made us feel very welcomed. Overall an excellent experience and fantastic value for money!
This tour was a highlight of our trip! The owners and the sommelier were very kind and welcoming and had a true passion for their jobs. We were given a guided tour of the vineyard and a tasting of multiple types of wines and local foods (cheese, prosciutto etc). There was more than enough food and wine and we had the best time learning about the different wines from the vineyard! We bought several bottles and are excited to enjoy them later. We rented a car in Bologna and the location was east to find. Cannot recommend this tour enough!
