We took this tour because tickets for the day we wanted were sold out, but we were SO VERY GLAD we did. Our guide, Elisa, was very good indeed. She explained the history and architecture of the monastery in just the right amount of detail, and timed our arrival at the entrance for seeing the last supper perfectly. Her commentary on the details of the fresco was very moving, I don't think I've ever heard a guide explain a painting so well.
Elisa was energetic and full of great information! We enjoyed the tour very much and would highly recommend her as a guide.
