Simone provided the four of us with a tour of two wineries in Lucca and Montecarlo that managed to be both relaxed and highly informative. Besides being extremely knowledgeable about the wines of Tuscany, Simone is also unusually genuine and personable. It was a real pleasure to spend the afternoon with him tasting great wine. Highly recommended.

We had a great afternoon with Simone visiting wineries in Montecarlo and Cappella. We were picked up / dropped off near our apartment, so everything was super convenient. Simone shared his detailed knowledge not only of the wines that we were tasting, but also of the other local grape varieties and wine styles produced in the area. The locations of the wineries and views from their terraces were extremely pleasing to the eye and contributed greatly to the overall experience whilst tasting the wines ! It was also good to taste the olive oils that both produced and we came away with samples of those too. Well worth going to the trouble of organizing a Wine Tour with Simone if you are staying in the area as his depth of subject knowledge and relationships with smaller local producers will ensure a very personalized experience.

My wife and I booked a private tour that included two wineries in Tuscany around Lucca. Our sommelier guide, Simone (Simon in English), picked us up at our hotel at 10.00 and we returned by 14.45. Our guide provided a ton of in-depth information about wine in Tuscany in addition to other historic and cultural facts during our drive and during the winery experiences. Light food in addition to the wine tastings was included and everything was setup for us when we arrived at the wineries. The experience was worth the cost and we would do it again.

A wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Simone drove my husband and me to two different wineries. With his helpful guidance, we toured the vineyards, followed the wine making process, and tasted the delicious wines and appetizers. The scenery was beautiful, the conversation delightful, and the wine added to the experience. We highly recommend Simone and his wine tour.

We loved our tour with Simone! The vineyards we visited were fantastic….we were able to see the production at one as they were beginning to harvest! Highly recommend!!!
