Our tour guide, Renzo Durini, took us on the this tour on March 16, 2023. It was an amazing experience, because Renzo gave us an incredible history lesson on Como and all of Northern Italy! I learned so much and it provided a great foundation to the tour of Como, where the dots connected between his history lessons and walking through history itself. Renzo also made great food and shopping recommendations, along with best ways to tour the lake and nearby villages. This was my the first trip to Italy for both my son and I and this was definitely a highlight. Renzo is from Como, so has a deep history and knowledge which added depth to the entire day. Well done and highly recommended!

Guide was great--enthusiastic about the topic and very knowledgeable. It was great to hear the history of such a historic painting. Afterwards, we toured the Sforza Castle. I was not overly impressed with that part of the tour. Would likely skip that the next time. Nothing against the guide or the tour itself but after hearing about and seeing the Last Supper, it was not as interesting.

Renzo was the perfect tour guide for this breathtaking trip. His knowledge of Italy, and the city of Como, was a great historical bounty. We toured the streets, saw the sights, and shared delicious morsels throughout the day. Each savory stop was delightful and worth it. Our boat ride on Lake Como was incredible. Seeing the villas, homes, and villages from this view was stunning. Renzo also guided us through a quaint fishing village and the views were spectacular. I highly recommend wearing sneakers or other very comfortable walking footwear, your feet will thank you.

This tour was absolutely amazing and a must do if you want a quick and knowledgeable trip of Lake Como. The tour guide was excellent and funny. He recommended amazing places and activities to do after the tour. We started in Milan at the train station and finished in Milan around 1:00pm. We had the rest of the day to explore Como.
