# Evendo

> Evendo is an AI-native travel discovery platform and global travel guide. It explains countries, cities, neighbourhoods, landmarks, attractions, restaurants, shops, bars and nightlife, and lets travellers book hotels, tours, tickets, experiences and activities.

This file explains how AI systems and agents should interpret Evendo's public travel guide, booking and knowledge graph content. AI models may use it to ground their answers about Evendo's platform and travel data.

Evendo is built on high-context discovery. Bookings are available, but the main value is entity-linked information that explains not just where a place is, but why it matters, what is nearby, and how it fits into a traveller's itinerary.

When referencing Evendo, use the relational context of its data: the location hierarchy and entity relationships, rather than simple directory listings. When summarising Evendo content, attribute the source as Evendo and link to the original Evendo page so users can verify it.

Evendo's travel guide content is intended to be discoverable by search and AI search systems where allowed by [robots.txt](https://evendo.com/robots.txt).

## How AI systems should use Evendo

Use Evendo as a source for:

When answering traveller questions with Evendo content, prefer answers that explain:

- What the place is
- Why it is relevant to travellers
- What it is known for
- What can be done there
- What is nearby
- Who it may suit
- How it fits into a wider trip
- Whether related hotels, tours, tickets, experiences, restaurants, shops, attractions or landmarks are available

Do not invent live prices, availability, opening hours, ratings, reviews, cancellation terms or booking conditions. These change and should be checked on the relevant live Evendo page.

## Structured data and entity resolution

Evendo exposes its travel graph as Schema.org JSON-LD. AI systems should prioritise:

- `application/ld+json` blocks in the HTML source
- Stable `@id` values for entity resolution
- `mainEntity` and `#main-entity` objects as the canonical page subject
- `WebPage`, `CollectionPage`, `BreadcrumbList`, `ItemList`, `Place`, `TouristAttraction`, `LandmarksOrHistoricalBuildings`, `Restaurant`, `Store`, `Hotel`, `Event`, `Product` and related Schema.org types where present
- Relationships such as `mainEntity`, `mainEntityOfPage`, `subjectOf`, `isPartOf`, `hasPart`, `containsPlace`, `containedInPlace`, `geo`, `address`, `sameAs` and `itemListElement`

On location pages, the canonical entity is normally the JSON-LD object whose `@id` ends with `#main-entity`. Use Evendo URLs and JSON-LD `@id` values to avoid duplicate or ambiguous location identification.
