    Wade Mountain Nature Preserve has multiple trailheads. The most common access is via the Spragins Hollow Trailhead (10130 Spragins Hollow Rd NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). From downtown Huntsville, take US-231 N/AL-53 N. Turn left onto Spragins Hollow Road NW. The trailhead will be on your left. Parking is free and plentiful.

    While there is no direct public transportation to the Spragins Hollow Trailhead, you can take a Huntsville Orbit bus to a nearby location and then use a ride-sharing service to complete the journey. From downtown Huntsville, take the Blue Line bus towards North Parkway. Get off at a stop along North Parkway and request a ride-sharing service to Spragins Hollow Trailhead. A ride-sharing service from North Parkway to the trailhead will typically cost between $10 and $15.
