    From Interstate 10, take Exit 17A to Dauphin Island. Follow AL-193 South for approximately 27 miles. Once on the island, turn left at the water tower onto Bienville Blvd; the aquarium is 2 miles on the left. Parking is free.

  • Ferry

    Consider taking the Mobile Bay Ferry from Fort Morgan to Dauphin Island for a scenic route. From the Fort Morgan ferry landing, the Alabama Aquarium is located a few miles east on Bienville Blvd. The ferry costs $16 for a car and driver, plus $4.50 for each additional passenger. Pedestrians are $6 each. The ferry ride is approximately 40 minutes.
