Getting There

• Public Transport

  From the main plaza in Salta (Plaza 9 de Julio), walk to the nearby bus terminal at Av. San Martín 100. Look for the 'Villa San Lorenzo' bus line, which typically operates every 30 minutes. Purchase a ticket from the kiosk and board the bus. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Villa San Lorenzo, you'll get off at the main stop. From there, head towards Av. San Lorenzo and follow the signs leading towards the Municipal Reserve Yungas De San Lorenzo, which is approximately a 15-minute walk uphill. The entrance is well marked.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or rideshare from your location in Salta. Simply request a ride to 'Reserva Municipal Yungas de San Lorenzo' or provide the address: 'Villa San Lorenzo, Salta Province'. The journey should take about 20-25 minutes depending on traffic. Continue straight onto Av. de la Libertad, which will lead you out of Salta city. After about 3.5 km, you will reach Villa San Lorenzo. From the village, follow the signs to the Municipal Reserve Yungas De San Lorenzo, which is located roughly 1 km from the center of Villa San Lorenzo. This route may take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace.
