Walking
From the Hotel Lago Grey, a well-marked trail leads to the shores of Grey Lake. The walk to the dock takes approximately 30-45 minutes through a native forest and along Grey Beach. This walk is not suitable for individuals with limited mobility. Comfortable footwear is recommended.

Boat Tour
The most popular way to experience Grey Lake is by taking a boat tour on the Grey III. Tours typically depart from Hotel Lago Grey and navigate to the face of the Grey Glacier, passing by icebergs and offering views of the Paine Massif. A round-trip ticket costs CLP$110,000 for adults and CLP$65,000 for children (ages 5-12). The boat tour lasts approximately 3 hours. Check-in is one hour prior to departure. A courtesy Pisco Sour with glacier ice is included.

Public Transport
To reach Hotel Lago Grey from Puerto Natales, take a bus to Pudeto. From Pudeto, take the catamaran across Pehoe Lake to Paine Grande. From Paine Grande, hike approximately 4 hours to Refugio Grey. From Refugio Grey, you can take a boat to Hotel Lago Grey. Alternatively, drive from Puerto Natales via Route Y-290 to the Serrano entrance of Torres del Paine National Park. From the entrance, it is approximately a 30-minute drive to Hotel Lago Grey. Park entrance fee for non-residents: CLP$32,400 per person.
