From Red Rock Country, head south on AZ-179 S toward I-17 S. Merge onto I-17 S and continue for approximately 35 miles. Take exit 203B for I-10 E toward Tucson. Merge onto I-10 E and continue for about 10 miles. Take exit 153A for 24th St. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for 24th St N. Continue on N 24th St and turn left onto E McDowell Rd. Turn right onto N Galvin Pkwy, and you will find the Phoenix Zoo on your right at 455 N Galvin Pkwy, Phoenix, AZ 85008. Parking at the zoo incurs a fee of approximately $15.

If you prefer public transportation, start by taking the Red Rock Transit to the nearest bus stop. From there, take the bus to the nearest city center transit hub. From the hub, take a Valley Metro bus (Route 1) heading towards Phoenix. Once in Phoenix, transfer to Route 0 or Route 50, which will take you to the Phoenix Zoo. Be sure to check the current bus schedules and routes as they may change. The total fare for a one-way ticket is about $2, but consider purchasing a day pass for $4 if you plan to make additional trips.
