Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Sedona, head north on AZ-89A for approximately 7 miles. You'll see the Slide Rock State Park entrance on your right at 6871 AZ-89A. Look for the park sign. Make sure to arrive early as parking can fill up quickly, especially on weekends.

  • Public Transportation

    Take the Verde Lynx bus route 1 from Sedona to the nearest stop at the junction of AZ-89A and Dry Creek Road. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles northeast along AZ-89A towards Slide Rock State Park. Be cautious as there's no dedicated pedestrian path, and be aware of traffic.

  • Car

    If you are coming from Flagstaff, take I-17 South and exit at AZ-179 towards Sedona. After about 20 miles, merge onto AZ-89A. Continue on AZ-89A for about 14 miles; the park entrance will be on your left at 6871 AZ-89A. Watch for the signs indicating Slide Rock State Park.
