From San Francisco Peaks, head southeast on AZ-180 E for approximately 30 miles. Continue onto I-40 E for about 70 miles. Take exit 311 toward Petrified Forest National Park. Follow the signs to the park entrance, which will be on your right. Be aware that there is an entrance fee of $25 per vehicle, valid for 7 days. The park is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
