Public Transit
From your location in Scottsdale, head to the nearest Valley Metro bus stop. You can take Route 72 (Scottsdale Road) towards the north. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Carefree Highway. From there, you can transfer to Route 505, which will take you directly to E Sundial Cir in Carefree. The Carefree Sundial is a short walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental stations in Scottsdale. Head north on the Arizona Canal Path towards Carefree. The ride will take about an hour and a half. Follow the path until you reach the intersection with E Sundial Cir. The Carefree Sundial will be visible from the path, and you can easily navigate to it from there.
Walking
If you are staying nearby, you can walk to Carefree Sundial. From the center of Scottsdale, head north on N Scottsdale Rd until you reach E Carefree Hwy. Continue walking for about 3 miles until you reach E Sundial Cir. The Carefree Sundial is located at the end of the street, and you will see the large sundial structure as you approach.
