To get to Pioneer & Military Memorial Park at 1313 W Jefferson St, Phoenix, AZ 85007, you can take the Valley Metro public bus. If you are in Scottsdale, head to the nearest bus stop and catch Bus Route 72. This bus travels from Scottsdale to Phoenix. You will need to stay on the bus for approximately 35-40 minutes. Disembark at the 'Jefferson St & 13th Ave' stop. From there, walk west along Jefferson Street for about 5 minutes until you reach the park entrance on your right.
Light Rail
If you prefer the light rail, first make your way to the nearest light rail station in Scottsdale, which is the 'Scottsdale & Camelback' station. Board the light rail heading towards 'Mesa' and transfer at the 'Washington/Central' stop. From there, board the light rail heading towards 'Sycamore/Main' and disembark at the 'Jefferson/1st Ave' station. Walk about 2 blocks west on Jefferson Street, and you will arrive at Pioneer & Military Memorial Park in approximately 10 minutes.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Scottsdale and ride to Pioneer & Military Memorial Park. Start by heading south towards the Arizona Canal Trail. Follow the trail west towards Phoenix, which will take you approximately 40-50 minutes. As you approach downtown Phoenix, make your way to 13th Avenue and turn left. Ride north for a couple of blocks until you reach Jefferson Street, where you can access the park.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can make your way from downtown Scottsdale. Start at the Scottsdale Waterfront and head west along Camelback Road. After about a mile, turn south onto 68th Street, which will take you across the Scottsdale Greenbelt. Continue walking until you reach the intersection of 68th St and Indian School Road. Turn left on Indian School Road and continue until you reach 7th Avenue, where you will turn right. Walk north on 7th Avenue until Jefferson Street. Turn left onto Jefferson Street, and you will find Pioneer & Military Memorial Park on your right after a few blocks.
