If you're driving through Tonto National Forest, head towards Cottonwood, Arizona. From the center of Cottonwood, take AZ-89A North. Continue on AZ-89A for about 10 miles. Take the exit toward Dead Horse Ranch State Park, and turn left onto Dead Horse Ranch Road. Follow the road for approximately 1 mile, and the park entrance will be on your left. There is a parking fee of $7.00 per vehicle for day use.
