Discover more about Eureka Springs & North Arkansas Railway

The Eureka Springs & North Arkansas Railway (ES&NA) offers a nostalgic journey into America's railroad heritage. Established in 1882, the railway connected Eureka Springs with the St. Louis and San Francisco Railway. Although the original line ceased operations in 1961, a portion was revived in 1981 by Robert Dortch, Jr. and his wife Mary Jane, transforming it into a tourist attraction. The ES&NA operates on a restored 2.5-mile stretch of the historic Arkansas & Ozarks Railway track. Visitors can explore the beautifully restored 1913 depot, which houses a collection of railroad memorabilia, including vintage locomotives, passenger cars, and a working turntable. Choose from several train ride options. The narrated Excursion Train provides a 4.5-mile round trip with insights into the region's history. For a unique experience, the Lunch and Dinner Trains offer catered meals in vintage dining cars. The Dinner Train features a more formal experience with entrees such as prime rib and trout almondine. The ES&NA is open seasonally, from April to October.
