If you are driving from Cobar, start by heading south on the Mitchell Highway (A32). Follow the signs for Cobar and continue on this highway for about 5 kilometers. After passing the Cobar Airport on your right, look for a sign indicating the entrance to Peak Gold Mines on your left. Turn left onto the Unnamed Road. Continue along this road for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the Fort Bourke Hill Lookout. There is no entrance fee to access the lookout.
