    To reach the Queensland–South Australia Border from Southern Queensland, you can start your journey from Brisbane. Take the M1 Motorway heading south. Continue on the M1 until it merges with the Pacific Motorway (M1) towards the Gold Coast. After approximately 50 kilometers, you will reach the town of Beaudesert. From Beaudesert, follow the road signs to the Mount Lindesay Highway (A15). Continue on A15 for about 85 kilometers until you reach the town of Woodenbong. From Woodenbong, take the Summerland Way (A15) heading south. After about 40 kilometers, you will reach the New South Wales border. Continue on A15, which will lead you into Gidgealpa, Queensland. The border is located just after you pass through Gidgealpa, at approximately latitude -25.9966 and longitude 139.3765.

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus from Brisbane to Goondiwindi. The journey takes around 3-4 hours. Once in Goondiwindi, you will need to hire a taxi or arrange for a local shuttle service to take you the remaining distance to the Queensland–South Australia Border. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may not run frequently. The taxi ride from Goondiwindi to the border will take approximately 1 hour and may cost around AUD 100-150. It's advisable to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
