Car
If you are driving, head towards South West Rocks. From the town center, take the South West Rocks Road. Follow the road for about 4.7 kilometers until you reach Trial Bay Gaol Access Road. Turn left onto Trial Bay Gaol Access Road. Continue on this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers, and you will arrive at the entrance to Arakoon National Park. Note that parking is available at the park entrance, but there may be a small parking fee.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus to South West Rocks from major cities like Port Macquarie or Kempsey. Once you arrive in South West Rocks, you can either walk or take a taxi to the park. The distance from the bus stop in South West Rocks to Arakoon National Park is about 6 kilometers, so walking will take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Alternatively, a taxi or rideshare service can be hired for a quicker trip.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, consider cycling to Arakoon National Park. If you are already in South West Rocks, head towards South West Rocks Road and follow the same route as if you were driving. The ride will take you through scenic views but be mindful of traffic. It's about a 15-20 minute ride from the town center to the park entrance.
