    If you're driving to the Royal National Park from Sydney, take the M1 motorway south towards Wollongong. After approximately 30 km, take the exit toward the Princes Highway (A1) and follow it for about 10 km. Then, take the exit toward Heathcote Road (B66) and continue for 5 km until you reach the entrance of the Royal National Park. Keep an eye out for the park signage. There are several parking areas available inside the park.

    To reach the Royal National Park using public transport from Sydney, catch a train from Central Station to Sutherland Station on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line. The journey takes about 30 minutes. From Sutherland Station, transfer to the 991 bus service towards Bundeena. This bus will take you directly to the park entrance. Be prepared for a bus ride of about 20 minutes. Make sure to check the bus timetable ahead of time for any changes in schedule.
