If you're driving, start by heading to the nearest major highway, the Newell Highway (A39) or Mitchell Highway (A32), depending on your starting location in Western New South Wales. Follow the signs to Sydney. Once you reach the outskirts of Sydney, take the M1 Pacific Motorway towards the city. Continue on the M1 and follow signs for the North Sydney exit. After exiting, merge onto the Warringah Freeway (A8) and follow the signs for Lavendar Bay. Take the exit for Mount Street and follow it until you reach Lavender Street. Wendy Whiteley’s Secret Garden will be located on Lavender Street at Lavender Bay. There is limited street parking nearby, so be prepared to find a spot in the surrounding streets.

To get to Wendy Whiteley's Secret Garden using public transport, you will first need to make your way to Sydney's Central Station. From Central Station, take the T2 Inner West & Leppington Line train towards Chatswood. Alight at the North Sydney Station. From North Sydney, you can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) to Lavender Bay by heading down Miller Street, turning onto Mount Street and then Lavender Street, or you can catch a bus. For the bus, head to the nearest bus stop on Pacific Highway and catch the bus number 144 or 263 towards Milsons Point. Get off at Lavender Street stop. The garden is a short walk from the bus stop.
